Block adult streams and limit chat.

Why bother?

Twitch chat is the wild west. These settings help a lot.

Do this, in order

  1. 1

    Settings → Security and Privacy → Privacy

    On the kid's account.
  2. 2

    Block Whispers from Strangers → ON

    Strangers can't DM.
  3. 3

    Hide Progress and Followed Channels → ON

    Limits how strangers find them.
  4. 4

    Notifications → Whispers → Friends only

    Same for subscriber chat.
  5. 5

    Hide chat on streams

    Stream gear → Hide chat.
  6. 6

    Mature Content defaults → OFF

    Re-confirmed on every adult stream.
