TikTok's For You feed is the most aggressive rabbit hole online. Family Pairing lets you set limits and filters they can't override.
Do this, in order

On YOUR phone, install TikTok and sign up
You only need to do this once. - 2
Settings and privacy → Family Pairing → Parent
A QR appears. - 3
Scan with the teen's TikTok
On their phone: Settings → Family Pairing → Teen → scan. - 4
Daily Screen Time
60–90 minutes is a fair start. - 5
Restricted Mode ON
Filters a lot of adult content. - 6
Direct Messages → No one
If under 16 this is already on. Check anyway. - 7
Comments → Friends
Kills random-stranger harassment.
